His mother heard what he was saying and gasped "What are you doing?"
The little boy answered "I'm doing my math homework, Mom."
"And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked.
"Yes", he answered.
Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, "What are you teaching my son in math?"
The teacher replied, "Right now, we are learning addition."
The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say two plus two, that son of a bitch is four?"
After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four."

When I first came across this book in the stands I thought it would be like a fairy tale. After that its sequel The Secret of the Nagas has been referred by my friend during our visit to the Landmark, a book store in Chennai. But my mind resisted without any reason even after he explained me that many of his colleagues had hold it in their hands. Then my cousin whom I consider to be an intellectual than rest of my close ones referred me the book.
This time I decided to go for it and bought the book through Flipkart. Making a story about a god, who has been worshipped all over the country irrespective of the regional difference, as a protagonist and writing an interesting novel about him isn’t that easier thing. But Amish did it exceptionally well in this book.
He takes us to the land of Meluhans with ease and his explanation to our ancient concepts then and there in the story was incredible. Particularly the Somras.. The way he portrayed the love between Sati and Shiva deserves a special mention. Also as a Tamilan i felt proud when in the story the characters say SangamTamil is the oldest of civilization.
If you are person who love to read fantasies in a realistic way just go for it. This book will entertain you for sure.

Its been so long since I have posted something here. My last ever writing was on Valentine’s Day and the subject that post deals was the reason for my inactive mode. February-14... Its the day whole world celebrates irrespective of their religion. Before writing about valentines day, I like to say few things about love.
You may be a well build and can have a strength to hit several persons, but only being soft helps you in love. So don't hold it too strong, also handle it gently. The simple and most important rule in love is don't try to understand it by researching. Particularly the girl you are in love, because getting a result is totally unsure. Love is purely a joyous thing. Enjoy the confusions it makes, fights it creates, dates it involved.
I had seen many persons feeling too hard when they had a breakup in love. If you are in such situation, think that you got an option to choose a better partner than the previous one. Never love too hard also never feel too hard for its failure. Importantly don't behave cinematic like growing beard. Remember among your failures only love failures can be identified easily by the persons around you. Don't give them a chance to sense your failure, because it may influence your next proposal.
Coming to valentines day, I have two perceptions regarding it. One as a MBA grad and another as a normal person. My management degree taught me to view it as a day which helps to increase the business in several sectors. Special days like this always enables for better liquidity. Being a normal person, its just an another day for me. The only thing it does is making me to realise about my relationship status and urging me to find a soulmate soon.
Wholly love is not only to be celebrated on feb-14, its for all days throughout the year.
